We live in RI and do not want to move at this time in our lives. However we do wish to have att the benefits that we have in MA in RI. I beliveve that marriage equality will happen in RI, I only hope it will be soon.

I believe in Marriage Equality because it is a fundamental right of all to be treated equally. There is no legal basis for the exclusion of the benefits afforded to married couples on the basis of biological sex. This is the civil rights stuggle of my generation. Religious interpretations of marriage should not be the basis for contracts recognized by the state.
