Homosexuality and the Bible at the RIIFF, August 8
The film FISH OUT OF WATER, about homosexuality and the Bible, blends humor and animation and academic expertise to tackle the seven Bible verses and other arguments typically used to condemn gay people and justify marriage discrimination.
In its East Coast Premiere at the Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) on Saturday, August 8th, at 7:15pm, at the Bell Street Chapel, 5 Bell St., Providence, this film is an essential tool in the fight for marriage equality all over the country and especially in the state of Rhode Island because it engages the debate on this issue on the religious battlefield.
The director and writer of the film, Ky Dickens, and producer, Fawzia Mirza, will answer questions after the film.
