I believe in Marriage Equality because, as the dad of a transgendered teenager, I would like my child to eventually enjoy the social, personal , legal and economic benefits of marriage that I and millions of others have, and that other kids and young adults hope to have. I would like all LGBT kids to look forward to that kind of future for themselves. And I want to be proud to live in a state that endorses and welcomes marriage for all its citizens--straight and LGBT.
